“Toy Story” is a considerably popular animation which tug at my heartstrings. The lovely characters and the riveting plot appeal to people in different ages. I am, as well, of no exception. The story talks about a little boy —— Andy, and his toys. Although it seems like a normal description of daily life, I am somehow deeply touched because of his intimate relationship with the toys he owns. Andy spent all his time with his toys at the beginning, regarding them as his best company. Yet his favor changed as he grew up. Those toys which used to be his favorite can no longer catch his attention. He indulged in his new toys, forgetting the past old time spending with the toys he loved before. As for those abandoned toys, they try desperately to win Andy’s heart back, launching a series of adventures and overcome all the challenges. The exciting and thrilling process of their journey also counts for a climax in this animation, leaving a distinct impression in my minds.
As far as I am concerned, it is the deep meaning behind this simple story that makes Toy Story distinguish from others. It triggers me to ponder on the relationships I possess. Just like what Andy does, I am also the one who can’t help paying more attention on novel things and sometimes fail to cherish people always beside me. However, we should treasure the relationships with them not only because they are my love but also because they have accompanied me on my journey of life for so long. They stand for the indispensable parts of my life, so by no means do they deserve ignorance and abandonment. As a result, every time after I watch Toy Story, I think of all my close friends and family, and schedule some time to spend with them, telling them how much I care about them. Through revealing the thoughts of those toys, Toys Story raises my awareness about not missing my direction in this fancy world and reminds me to remain faithful to my beloved ones.
